Indeed, Liverpool have stepped up their pursuit of Eriksen after watching him star for Denmark. Our assistant manager Sammy Lee was spotted in Copenhagen eyeing him during the match, and he was incredibly impressed. Eriksen is aware that he's wanted by Liverpool, but he insists he plans to stay at Ajax until the end of his contract in 2014. Ajax just offered him a new one, in fact. However, I don't know if we should believe him, since players these days clearly change their minds too often.

Eriksen would bring much-needed depth into our midfield. We're in need of some midfielders and wingers as Kenny bought strikers in the last transfer window. Our defenders have been doing a solid job and helping Reina keep his cleansheets.

Maybe...but as a liverpool supporter ....who goes every week i would say that we need to look more into the premier league for players rather than abroad.
