when i did history last year, we did the exact same thing. i chose to do family life. and i also did a thing on the toys back then. i can tell you that a lot of toys made back then were made with wood and that the children made them and not their parents. family life i found was easier but maybe you should ask your teacher what she thinks a good one to do is. :D
