BBUK. Does putting the twins up together give them an unfair advantage?

The reputable journalistic source, the Daily Star reckons BB are trying to axe the twins cos they're untouchable, but as the boys said, whoever's up against them is f*cked.

Maybe the producers are trying to avoid the inevitable; the newbs getting picked off one by one.BBUK. Does putting the twins up together give them an unfair advantage?
It totally changes things. They stand a much better chance of winning now they are 'as one'. Not many people could have chosen one over the other before so it was more likely Brian would have won. Now I think the gap has lessened between the 'twins' and 'Brian'. I think BB have done this knowing that this is fairer to the twins (not so fair on the other housemates though, did you see some of their faces last night when they heard that news!?)
hmm thats a good point.. if one of the twins is disliked and is evicted because of it, then so will the other be. it also works vice versa..the one that is liked will be kept in..but as theyre up together they'll both stay. i think it was nice of bb for once to let them stay together..after all, they are twins! besides.. they make me laugh =]BBUK. no i dont think it does i think it gives them a disadvantage as no one has ever put up a twin seperately because why would you want to choose between them, but now they are one you dont have to chose between them, i think its a disadvantage, maybe not on the winning frnt as i think they will be 2nd to brain , bt they wont win its to late, brian has it in the bag
Treating those two contestants as one is ridiculously unfair and a feeble move on BB's part to avoid splitting them up (since they've shown absolutely no noticeable individuality). It's a fast-track for them to win unless something really interesting happens which at this stage is unlikely.BBUK. Does putting the twins up together give them an unfair advantage?
After the incident in the garden with Amy calling Brian a muppet, that slapper should be up............ugly bint..........who the feck does she think she is...............she is all t1ts....in more way than one!



As for the twins...........I can see where BB are coming from.....nice is not always entertaining, especially in a programme like BB!
i think they should of gone as two people...but i think that they should go any way....there getting a bit boring.....and i think now they are to be as one i think they should go earlier than expected...
I don't think it gives them either it's something I feel should of being made clear at the beginning or on day 2 when they asked but it's BB so their rules. I think they should have had one vote but then that would of contradicted BB rule no discussion about nominations or they should of had them entering the house separately but they wanted the 1st twins in the house thing so I feel its another show of BB the hypocrite!
I don't think the DS has it right. Why would BB try to axe them? I cannot see the twins being evicted before the final night.



After the nut roast fiasco shown last night, it looks to me as if Carole could be on her way out. Kara Louise came out of that very well - what a sweet person.



To my mind it's inevitable that Amy will go too.
Yes,they may be twins but they are still 2 different people,also up to now in nominations they have voted independently so why change now.
I do think they are fairly strong in this comp and people are bound to pick off the newbies its human nature!!!

but i dont think the twins will win this year they dont have enough about them!!
I think what is unfair is doing it so late in the game what about all the thousands of bets put on in bookies for them will people get money if they win or will bookies say no as it is a joint win and not joint on ticket??

I think this gives them a better chance of winning because if you like a twin you could not decide which one to pick but now it does not matter they come as a pair.

The other side of coin is they would have done photo shoots together anyway and shared the money if one or other had won.

My smell a rat is it should have been so from start as after all they did ask at the begining and the other rat is now we get two votes not four in nominations which means Carole as one less vote!!
BB haven't done themselves any favours by putting up the twins! One of the only things that would have been interesting to watch would be the twins being seperated! now that's never going to happen! Shame on BB, another mistake to add to te ever increasing list.

personally i felt that Liam treated Amy very badly - used her for his own ends in the half way house and then dumped her as soon as he was back with his old mates - get Liam out as he has already gotten his money

Clever move on the twins part to combine their public support into one. Will get them closer to Brian but probably not close enough. Carol and Tracy will get one less vote each week. The twins have clearly talked about nominations as they do an identical vote each week.

I don't think it does give them an advantage, because they have never been up for eviction and aren't likely to be either.

I don't like it though, because it would have been more interesting at the end, like if they did end up against each other.
Yes they do have an unfair advantage! They should be booted.
Why would BB ask them if they wanted to be 1 if they wanted them out, it's the best way for Endermol/C4 to package them for post BB job ops isn't it?

It is a disadvantage as they only have one vote instead of two.

Someone said they both vote together but this is not true a few weeks ago they voted for Carole and their second vote differed.

Carole pissed them off in the first weeks.

They cannot talk about it or they would be pulled up for it.



It also gives them half the chance of winning.
i don't think the twins will win but they will come very close...Ziggy is right....they are going nowhere right now...but they will be in the final 3....
It most definitely gives them an unfair advantage and I have said this in another answer. Amanda was way ahead of Sam in the betting odds to win and now they are counted as one they will be getting the votes for the both of them, which is unfair. It was said on BBLB today (repeat) that it had already altered the odds so that Brians odds have dropped quite a bit. Another ploy by BB because they want a set of twins to win? I think so. I so hope Brian wins as he well deserves it.
I think BB is playing a sly game with the public. They are using the twins to prevent all three new house mates from being up this week.

I also think that BB wouldn't mind if the twins DID leave now.

I can't say that I would miss them if they go.
It may be unfair to them but I still don't think they will go Friday
