Islam is now most fast spreading religion in the world. According to Guinness Book of World Record, Islam has more then 1.16 billions world wide.



And, the number of adherents of Protestants and Catholics is decreasing. So, as people are accepting christianity, they are leaving it at a greater rate as reported in leading newspaper. The New York Times ( 25 Feb, 2008 Report --- See link Below )

Therefore, as verified by indepedant news media, western sources and even by the christian organisation itself, Islam is indeed the fastest growing religion in the world.

I would like to comment on the false information given by some people on how Islam is the fastest growing religion because of the birth rate in the middle east or asia, etc... This is not true, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the United States because of CONVERSION, not immigration. It is said that the new mosques being built in the United States over the last 2 years have 30% of people going to it as converts. In fact, according to Brittanica, Islam has the highest conversion rate in the world, so please get the facts straight friend.







A Deen (i.e the System of Life) approved by Allah is Al-Islam (Submission to His Laws and Commands). The people of the Scripture differed for nothing but selfish envy among themselves, after the Knowledge has come to them. One who rejects Allah's Revelations will find that His Law of Requital is swift in reckoning.

Whoever seeks as Deen (i.e. a System of Life) (anything) other than Al-Islam, it will not be taken from him with approbation, and he will be a loser (in the long run in this world as well as) in the Hereafter.

Just because a religion has the most followers, currently Christianity, or is the fastest growing, according to you, Islam doesn't mean it's the true religion. You also have to take into consideration why it is the fastest growing religion, such as number of converts, birth rates, etc., but as I said none of this proves any religion is the truth.
