Should I take my contacts lenses out?

I wear daily contact lenses. I put them in yesterday at about 8am. But I haven't been to sleep yet. But I'm visiting family this evening and we'll be having quite a heavy session. My eyes are so sore, but they would be sore even with no contacts in. Is it worth taking them out and putting a new pair in?

Yes definitely take them out - I recently made the mistake of keeping my contacts in too long recently and ended up having to go to eye hospital. Your eyes are very delicate and you can pick up infections very easily, especially if you have something like contact lenses because it isn't natural to the eye. Ideally if your eyes feel sore take your contacts out altogether and wear glasses for a bit instead. Although if you must wear contacts do change them regually - save your eye sight!
Put a new pair in. They're dailies because they wear out in the space of a few hours. The new ones will hurt your eyes less.Should I take my contacts lenses out?
YES. My husband takes his out and cleans them and they go back in. Never over 8 hours without a cleaning. He has never had an infection or a problem.
Try some eye lubricant? If you still can't relieve the soreness, i suggest you take out those lenses and rest your eyes until evening.Should I take my contacts lenses out?
Take them out and leave them out for at least an hour to let your eyes breath if not the cells will start to die and your risk eye disease or blindness, then put fresh new ones in, you have done the stuff at the opticians, you know the dangers
if i were you i'd take them out and put a new pair in tomorrow and wear glasses (if you them tonight) if not put a Fresh pair in, but leave your eyes lenslesss for a couple of hours before, and soak some cotton wool in water and cleanse your eyes or put a wet cloth in the fridge for an hour or so and place that on your eyes for about 15 minutes, or get some ice cubes and rub them around your eyes.
Why not consider having implanted contact lenses? ICLs may be a great option for you if you are having trouble with sore eyes from regular contacts.
Try glasses also.There are very lovely glasses in the market.
